The piston ring is a sensitive and delicate part which acts as a sealant between the cylinder and the piston. The main functions of the piston ring are: preventing friction and excessive wear, reducing contact between the piston and cylinder wall, transferring heat away from and lubricating the cylinder.

As the only designer and producer of piston rings in Iran and utilizing the technological know-how and machinery supplied by GOETZE internal combustion piston rings (for both gasoline, gas, and diesel engines) , Ring Khodro Pars started its activity in 2006, and has acted as original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and original equipment supplier (OES) of these parts ever since. The company’s achievements since starting its activity include the following: SAPCO’s Grade A Certificate; Iran Khodro National Quality Award; Tabriz Tractor Manufacturing Company’s Khodrosazan Grade A Certificate; OHSAS 2007: 18001 and ISO TS 2009: 16949 Certifications; Megamotor’s Grade A Certificate; as well as supplying 100% of auto parts required by Iranian car manufacturing companies and obtaining the approval  of Iran’s only piston ring laboratory (an affiliate of Iran’s National Institute  of Standards).
